Since our founding in 2017, we've grown from a specialty façade engineering practice into a nationwide building enclosure engineering and consulting firm dedicated to helping owners, architects, contractors, and developers deliver high-performing building enclosure systems.
Our growth has been driven by one goal: providing practical, performance-focused solutions that help clients reduce risk, improve constructability, and extend the life of their buildings.
Where We Started
Our story began in Atlanta with the launch of BPL Facade Engineering, focusing on specialty façade engineering and ETFE systems. From the outset, we were involved in technically demanding projects that required innovative engineering solutions and close collaboration with project teams.
Those early years included work on several landmark projects, including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport canopies, the American Dream Mall skylights, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and SoFi Stadium. These projects established the technical foundation that continues to shape our approach today.
In 2018, Bennett & Pless Structural Engineers partnered with LEICHT, a Germany-based engineering firm internationally recognized for its expertise in façade engineering and ETFE systems. By combining Bennett & Pless' structural engineering experience with LEICHT's specialized façade knowledge, we strengthened our ability to support increasingly complex building enclosure projects.
From the beginning, BPL Enclosure has operated as a sister company to Bennett & Pless Structural Engineers. While each firm maintains its own area of expertise, our close collaboration allows clients to benefit from coordinated structural and building enclosure consulting, providing comprehensive solutions for even the most challenging projects.

Today, BPL Enclosure has offices across Washington, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Maryland, and New York, enabling us to provide responsive local support backed by the technical resources of a nationwide practice. This growth allows us to work more closely with clients while maintaining the collaborative, solutions-oriented approach that has defined our firm since the beginning.
Our project portfolio has expanded alongside our footprint. Today, we support projects across healthcare, higher education, sports and entertainment, commercial, multifamily residential, laboratory, institutional, and mission critical markets. In 2026, we continued that growth through our merger with SEAL Building Enclosure. By bringing together two respected building enclosure consulting firms with complementary expertise, we expanded our technical depth, geographic reach, and available resources. For our clients, this means greater access to specialized building enclosure professionals, broader regional support, and an even stronger team dedicated to delivering high-quality consulting services.

Today, BPL Enclosure is a nationwide engineering and consulting practice focused exclusively on building enclosure performance.
