Mercedes-Benz Stadium is an iconic, multi-purpose venue defined by its innovative retractable roof and transparent facade. Designed by HOK Architects and TVS Design, with structural engineering by Walter P. Moore, the stadium sets a new benchmark for performance-driven architecture and advanced building systems. Owned by the Atlanta Falcons, the venue balances bold aesthetics with cutting-edge engineering.
Our team provided peer review and optimization analysis for the ETFE roof cushion system and facade in collaboration with Birdair, Inc. The project features fritted ETFE roof cushions and a single-layer ETFE facade, delivering lightweight structural efficiency, enhanced daylighting, and long-term durability while supporting the stadium’s striking architectural vision.
