Douglas Danks has over thirty years experience as a registered architect and building enclosure consultant serving a broad range of projects in the Midwest region and nationally. He also teaches and lectures on the topic of Building Science and its application to building enclosure design and construction. He currently serves as a Senior Building Enclosure Consultant for BPL Enclosure in their Minnesota office. Doug is an Accredited Building Enclosure Commissioning Provider through the University of Wisconsin. He has extensive experience with new facility Building Enclosure Commissioning, State of MN B3 Building Enclosure Consultant services and 2024 MN Energy Code Air Barrier Verification/Testing services. Additional areas of practice include inspection of building enclosure systems, building enclosure condition assessments, forensic investigation of building enclosure systems and peer design review.
